National Retailer seeks an Auditor for the North West Region.

Responsible for providing the business with an independent assurance of operational, legal and procedural compliance in respect of stock and cash management, Health and Safety and Inventory verification, together with ad hoc investigations.

Identifying new areas of risk and changes in risk, suggesting effective controls and formulating action plans. Highlighting any weaknesses in controls and identifying any instances of theft / fraud.

Assisting in the presentation of targeted training sessions or updates to Managers.

Ensuring management stock takes are accurate and investigation of poor results.

Ensuring compliance to general controls & procedures and to safety standards.

Ideal candidate will have experience of working in internal audit, have good computer skills and be able to work on own initiative.

S/he will be a good influencer, communicator and relationships builder.
