Technology Sales Executive

Job Description :
Technical Sales Executive primary role is to identify, pursue and
secure business opportunities for TeleTech's unique suite of technical
products and solutions. Sales Executives work with identified targets
as well as our current client base to determine best match of client
need and delivery capability.
Responsibilities
- Identify and Pursue Global 1000 clients with unique contact center
based solution needs
- Provide pre-sales consulting (solution design, solution validation,
assist in responding to customer questions)
- Host customers / analyst presentations and demonstrations
- Serve as a liaison to Product Management and R&D
- Augment sales training by providing content for focused technical
sales training and sophisticated customized demonstrations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Technical
- Strong knowledge of telephony (VoIP, Cisco preferred)
- Strong knowledge of networks (domain, firewall, MPLS)
- Ability for server staging, both server hardware and software
components (OS & virtualization)
- Strong knowledge of relational dbases
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Unified Communication (Active
Directory, OCS, Exchange UM)
- Basic programming skills with a high level knowledge of software
development platforms (web, desktop, server)
- Understand general call center operations & terminologies
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, demonstration, writing, and
interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate both business and technical information to
different levels of audience (from visionary business audience, senior
executive decision makers, contact center mangers and IT)
- Ability to influence and steer prospects away from low-level
features and into focusing on business value and solving key business
challenges / pain points.
- Ability to develop and delivering training material to global
audience
- Ability to work independently and deal with ambiguity
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent is required
- 3+ years demonstrable sales experience (baseline contracts of 1
Million Dollars or more), including quotas and deal sheets
- 3+ years experience with consultative or solution selling process
- Ability to travel internationally on short notice
